Alufix is a flexible fixturing system made out of high-tensile aerospace aluminium. Repeatable fixtures of all kinds and sizes can be assembled quickly using single components chosen from the huge variety available. The open bores, typical to Alufix, allow combinations in any direction; the horizontal and vertical grid always maintained. Witte Alufix’s fixture system is mainly used in quality assurance for measuring fixtures and checking gauges. Its further uses include fixtures for prototypes building, stereo-lithography, design departments, optical measuring fixtures, cmm fixtures, vision fixtures, as well as welding and assembly fixtures.

 

Alufix fixtures are designed in approximately one fifth of the time required for conventional fixtures. Further cost and time savings arise due to the possibility of changing finished fixtures quickly and easily at any time during the process.
