Vertical Optical Systems
While horizontal optical systems predominate in North America, throughout much of the rest of the world, vertical systems are actually more common.

Vertical optical systems are ideal for parts that can best be measured by placing them on the glass insert of the workstage -- similar to the way parts are measured with vision systems. Vertical systems work very well with flexible or soft parts (i.e., plastic, thin stampings or electrical components).

tarrett's new version of the VB400 Vertical Benchtop Optical Measuring System has a completely new and updated design.

The VB400 is ideal for high or low volume part inspection, and measuring complex shapes and hole patterns, easily and quickly. It is equally at home in the calibration lab, the toolroom or on the shop floor as a stand-alone unit.
