Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600: The multifunctional 3D laser tracker

Manufacturers are increasingly interested in digitally pinpointing and inspecting large parts and surfaces that are out of range of a traditional handheld 3D laser scanner, touch probe, or reflector. The Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600 meets these challenges with a unique working principle that accurately locates a point in 3D space with metrology-grade accuracy without a reflector.

Based on Wave-Form Digitizer technology, the ATS600 is powered by the first-ever Scanning Absolute Distance Meter, locating points within 300 microns from up to 60 meters away.

The ATS600 quickly produces a measurement grid by measuring points across a user-definable area. The point-grid density is customizable, balancing speed and detail in your metrology software.

With the ATS600, objects previously difficult to digitize can be quickly analyzed in 3D by a single operator. This direct scanning laser tracker expands productive quality control into new areas of production.

The ATS600 also includes features from the Absolute Tracker range, such as reflector measurement at up to 80 meters with PowerLock capability. This combination offers impressive performance for large-scale tasks.
