Mitutoyo 1162A Back Plunger Series 1 Dial Indicator is built with the measuring spindles on the back of the unit. This type of indicator offers the same precision and durability as all other Mitutoyo dial indicators, and operates very effectively with optional holding bars. Back plunger type dial gauges are suitable for mounting onto leveling machine tool tables or inspection jigs, and for use in small spaces where the graduations of standard dial gages are difficult to see. This model is a One revolution type and has a range of 5mm with 1mm per revolution, 0.01mm graduation and 100-0 Dial Reading with an 8mm Stem., The Mitutoyo “A” Series Dial Indicators have scratch resistant, anti-glare coated crystals just like our popular Test Indicators. They also have a standardized stop screw thread to M2.5x0.45, increased mounting stem length*, a redesigned spindle for waterproof models allowing for additional contact points to be used, a tapered hand/pointer base which makes repairs easier when needed, tolerance clips are now optional, a change in stop screw shape*, and the bezel and dust cap colors are black.
