M2 stylus with 1.5 mm diameter ruby cylinder with 3.0 mm diameter x 7.0 mm long stainless steel base. Overall stylus length is 15.0 mm. Stylus weight is 0.28 gram. Compare to Renishaw A-5000-8877. Cylinder styli are used for edge probing, for example, the edges of stampings or sheet metal. They are not suitable for high accuracy work because their form is not as precise as a sphere.
